Key Facts

Around £5bn are currently locked in Child Trust Fund Accounts
Child Trust Funds (CTF’s) were closed to new business in 2010
Junior ISA’s were created as an alternative to CTF’s in 2011
Transfers from Child Trust Funds to Junior ISA’s will be allowed from April 2015
Transfers have to be made in full and cannot be partial amounts
